Penn State added a piece to its future offense on Wednesday night.

The Nittany Lions earned a commitment from 2025 tight end Matt Henderson, and he announced the decision on Twitter.

The 6-foot-5, 208-pound prospect visited several programs this year such as Penn State, Purdue, Michigan State, James Madison, Maryland, Old Dominion and Coastal Carolina.

Henderson has an official visit set with the Nittany Lions on June 7 and one with Michigan State from June 20-23.

The newest Nittany Lion was offered by the program on April 25 and wasted little time making his commitment.

Henderson is the 13th member of the blue and white’s 2025 class and the first true tight end prospect. Three-star Brady O’Hara is expected to transition from tight end to the offensive line at the collegiate level.

Penn State currently holds the No. 16 class in the nation, per On3.
