Penn State goaltender Liam Souliere entered the transfer portal on Tuesday night, according to Gopher Puck Live.

Souliere marks the second Nittany Lion to enter the portal this week, following in the footsteps of senior forward Tyler Paquette.

Hailing from Brampton, Ontario, the senior netminder amassed a 2.95 goals-against average and a .897 save percentage over his four years in the blue and white.

This past season, Souliere amassed 12 wins with a 3.38 goals-against average and .874 save percentage.

His time in Hockey Valley will most be remembered by his stellar junior season, where he posted a 2.43 goals-against average and .917 save percentage en route to Penn State’s NCAA Tournament Regional Final run.

He ranks second all-time in Penn State program history in saves (2,067), second in wins (39) and third in shutouts.

His departure leaves the blue and white in desperate need of help between the pipes, leaving sophomore Noah Grannan as the only current rostered goaltender.
