One of Penn State’s most coveted prospects is off the board

The Nittany Lions added to their secondary by landing four-star cornerback Jahmir Joseph on Monday evening.

Joseph becomes the No. 15 pledge for the blue and white in its 2025 class and marks the third defensive back.

The Montvale, New Jersey, native ranks as the No. 182 player in the nation and the No. 22 cornerback in the class, according to the On3 industry rankings.

Joseph’s commitment comes a week after Penn State gained a commitment from four-star Daryus Dixson.

Joseph is coming off an official visit with the Nittany Lions this past weekend. Joseph took an official visit to Stanford at the beginning of the month and was at Notre Dame on June 7. He was scheduled to visit South Carolina this weekend.

The newest Nittany Lion has the versatility to play in man or zone coverage and displays excellent ball skills with eight passes broken up and three interceptions during his junior campaign.
