The good times for Penn State on the recruiting trail continued on Wednesday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions added to their defensive line by securing a commitment from four-star edge rusher Jayden Woods.

Woods becomes the No. 19 member of the blue and white’s 2025 class and marks the third defensive end.

The Shawnee, Kansas, native joins a loaded defensive end room with fellow four-stars Max Granville and Cortez Harris.

Woods took an official visit on June 7 as he chose the blue and white over Florida, Purdue Wisconsin and Tennessee.

The newest pledge ranks as the No. 199 player in the nation and the No. 23 defensive end in the class, according to the On3 industry rankings.

Woods’ commitment is the sixth in the last five days for the Nittany Lions as they continue to add talent to a recruiting class that ranks just outside the top 10, per On3.
