One of Penn State’s most coveted prospects is off the board

The Nittany Lions added to their defensive line by landing four-star edge rusher Max Granville on Monday evening.

Granville becomes the No. 18 pledge for the blue and white in its 2025 class and marks the second pass rusher.

The newest Nittany Lion native ranks as the No. 167 player in the nation and the No. 19 linebacker in the class, according to the On3 industry rankings.

The Sugar Land, Texas, native first visited Happy Valley in late March and took an official visit on May 31.

Granville joins the class just one day after fellow four-star Cortez Harris announced his commitment to the Nittany Lions.

The blue and white secured his commitment over Oklahoma and Texas A&M.

Penn State’s class ranks within the top 15 in the nation and is expected to gain more commitments this week.
